Marilyn Sieff-ES

Marilyn is the senior legal counsel for Amadeus’ payments business, which helps travel businesses take payment from their customers, pay suppliers, and optimize both. In her role, Marilyn leads a team of payment-specialist lawyers (currently all women!) who provide legal and regulatory counsel to the business, which processes over 100 billion euros’ worth of travel payments in 192 countries each year. The size, geographic scope, and fast-growing nature of the business mean that Marilyn and her team engage throughout the product development cycle, providing counsel when products are still only concepts and seeing them right through to the global roll-out across multiple legal jurisdictions.

Before joining Amadeus in 2014, Marilyn spent almost 10 years in private practice, most recently in the international finance department of the Linklaters Madrid office, where she was recognized by Chambers for several consecutive years as “one to watch”. Marilyn is delighted to be able to join EWPN as a country ambassador in Spain and share her enthusiasm for payments with other women.
